Trombone File Cabinet

imageMany years ago, I studied trombone and received a Bachelor of Music degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Shortly after, I played for about 8 months for the Marriott Hotel chain during the time they ran Great America, playing in the pit band for the show "Broadway". Later I became a band director for a short time in Baraboo Wisconsin and then spent several years as a band director at Washburn High School in Northern Wisconsin. During that time, I played in the Chequamegon Symphony and the Stadtpfeifer Brass Quintet. In 1983, I returned to Madison for a degree in Mathematics, and later a Master's degree in Education from Viterbo University. I have been teaching Math for 33 years at Hilbert High School and started playing trombone seriously again about 8 years ago. I have played in a number of groups including; community theatre pit bands, the Fox River Brass Quintet , UW-Fox Valley Concert Band , Swing Time Big Band, BBR (Big Band Reunion), Vento Winds, Appleton City Band, Swing'n Angels and occasionally with FBI and the Untouchable Horns.
